About me and my concept
Hi, I’m Finja Lux, the founder of LuxLinguas, and I believe that language is more than vocabulary and grammar—it’s a bridge to opportunity, confidence, and connection. My journey with languages began early and has taken me across borders, into new cultures, and ultimately into the world of teaching.
After years of study, hands-on experience, and a passion for meaningful communication, I created LuxLinguas to bring personalized, empowering language coaching to people around the world. Whether you’re preparing for a move abroad, a job interview, or simply looking to unlock the power of self-expression, you’re in the right place.
Denmark’s educational system
Denmark has a well-regarded education system that emphasizes high academic standards, student well-being, and learner-centered teaching. Future teachers in Denmark typically complete a professional bachelor’s degree in teacher education, combining academic study with extensive practical training in schools.
My teaching Degree
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Teacher Education from UC SYD in Haderslev, one of Denmark’s leading university colleges for teacher training. During my studies, I specialized in English and German as second languages, gaining deep knowledge in language acquisition, intercultural communication, and modern teaching methodologies. My training included both theoretical coursework and hands-on classroom experience, ensuring that I’m well-equipped to support language learners of all levels.
international internships
As part of my training, I completed internships in minority schools, which enriched my teaching skills in multilingual and multicultural settings. I taught at a Danish minority school in Germany and a German minority school in Denmark, where I navigated daily between languages and cultures. These experiences taught me to adapt my teaching to diverse classrooms and foster inclusive learning environments.
Moreover, I had the opportunity to complete an internship at a school in Tanzania, where English was the medium of instruction. This experience further strengthened my intercultural competencies and gave me practical insight into teaching in a global context.
My experiences and vision
My international experience, academic background, and passion for languages enable me to support students from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds in learning English or German as a second language.
Beyond my formal education, I have also worked as a German language teacher for adults through online platforms. This role allowed me to support learners of different ages and backgrounds in an online environment. It gave me valuable experience in tailoring lessons to individual needs, maintaining engagement through virtual tools, and building a strong teacher-student connection—no matter the distance.
